tell me what youve experinced good, bad .. ecr, of camp of champs, im going this summer for two weeks, sesh b and c , so i want to know more about it, pm me and post in here your thoughts, i wanna go but i wanna know more personal experinces!
It was so damn fun, probably one of the best times of my life. Such a sick experience, and you meet so many new people. Park is amazing too, and there is so much to do in whistler
+k man, thats what ive heard, i heard its more fun then windells? no idea havent been to etheir! i just wannaaknow what people thimk, whats like a normal day there? ill be there for two weeks
i havent been there but ill tell you this, its fucking expensive, assuming you dont live near vancouver you have to pay for a ticket, then you have to pay for room and board, and all that. as compared to alot of other camps which everything is included. but i bet it would be sick as fuck if you could afford it.
Nope, if you set it up, COC can actually be a few hundred cheaper then Windells and some of the other camps. Yes they make it so you pay for a lot of things "separately" but really your just customizing your camp perfectly so that you are not paying for things you don't want. It only appears seperate because they don't clump it all into one fee.
to op:
COC is so much fun and there have been so many experiences it would take forever to write them all,, but in a nutshell: I have met tons of new friends that I will keep for life ( of course there is always a few dicks but you just ignore them), had the time of my life not only skiing but doing so many awesome activities afterwards with my new friends, and of course got hooked up with a bunch of swag. ( I have been going to COC on and off since I was 11)
If you want to know more feel free to PM me
If I were you I would just go to Windells, I was looking at COC, but decided it'd be easier to just stay in the country and go to Windells. I'm going to Session 5, it's still open with a bunch of spots/sessions left.
CAMP OF CHAMPIONS IS ONE OF THE BEST TIMES YOU CAN HAVE ON SKIS! IM SURE WINDELLS IS GOOD, BUT FUCK THAT, COC HAS A MUCH MORE BALLER PARK, AND WHISTLER IS DEFINATELY MORE BALLER THAN GOVY.
YOU WONT REGRET IT AT ALL, I WENT FOR 2 YEARS WHEN I WAS 14 AND 15, I STILL REMEMBER IT AS ONE OF THE BEST TIMES I'VE EVER HAD AND I'M 20 NOW AND HAVE HAD ALMOST TOO MUCH FUN IN THAT TIME PERIOD.
if your a fairly outgoing and talkative kid though, i almost reccomend you get camp without coaching and just chat up the coaches/pros/people riding and you will still learn alot! if its feasable, you could ride the whole month COC is open, pay for your food and accom, and it would be similar price to if you did a 2 week deluxe, look into it.
BUT DEFINATELY GO TO COC, ITS THE BEST, ONLY PEOPLE WHO CHEAPED OUT AND WENT TO WINDELLS WILL TELL YOU OTHERWISE.
God it's so fun. I've gone once, was supposed to go three times (mofucking injuries), but I'll definitely be going back when I get the chance. Hop on it!
COC is sick but I am going to woodward @ copper for 2 weeks instead. If you have questions about woodward PM me. Also form what I have heard NOT from expirience COC is epic.
COC>Windells but don't forget Momentum and the 2 Woodwards
it will be your best summer ever. everyone is super chill and focused on learner. youll met tons of pros and whistler is tight. pm me if u have any questions im going back again this year week c
Hey Cole
Stoked you got so many great replies to your question.
On your water ramp question - Instead of hitting the water ramps, this year our Launcher is going to be firing all summer so you can get more hits in less time with less swimming, shivering and stair climbing than using water ramps. Our dryslope rails will be going off as well. It's going to be fun skiing from 8 am till 10 pm every day.
See you this summer
Ken
Thanks to everyone that said they had such a great time at camp!
