just read a couple of articles..don't fully understand.

if Greeces' newly elected government doesn't comply with their current austerity program then they will be kicked out of the EU? or just stop receiving their bailout money? sorry for my ignorance, this is the first time i've heard anything about this election. ha

I'm calling a 3% drop in the NYSE tomorrow. Awful news, Europe will be on a pile of ashes if Hollande's spending and bailout reforms breaks up the EU.

i actually live in switzerland, and half my family from my fathers side is french, they all voted for sarkozy, i personally dont care too much ,

but some of my friends that live in Paris say that they all voted for Hollande because Sarkozy was really becoming a big arrogant prick, and that if he won again he would have become worlds biggest douchebag

my family is pretty pissed though:


decided it would be fun to call my grandma and scream HOLLANDE and then hang up

Even in France, the President does not have that much power.

The ECB holds the strings on everything, unfortunately. I hope Finland would get out from the EU.

Pretty similar situation in my case haha. My family in France are all pissed as well. Heard my mom from the kitchen " PUTAIN!"
I think they both sucked equally sucked just as much so i chose not to vote.
