With so many "What shows do you recommend" threads going around lately, especially as the lack of snow draws us away from the slopes, I have to give a very high recommendation to a series that has gone pretty much under the radar, at least on NS - The Life and Times of Tim.
Seriously, one of the funniest shows I've ever seen, straight comparison could go with crossing sarcasm of The Critic with the ballsy and childish wit of Archer with a splash of Bob's Burgers -type reactional humor. The show was cancelled after a Three Season run on HBo, but it might be picked up by another channel sooner or later.
Check it out if you haven't, and if you have, give us your opinions.
It's got something special for sure. Hard to descrive, but at least when it comes to animation, it has the best voice acting I've heard in anything. Line after line of perfect delivery.
Just got a few other people into it as well, they love it, still a gem flown under many radars (airing only on Canal+ in the early morning or afternoon here).
well saying that the show has been around for three seasons and 30 episodes starting in 08. i think this show will be just fine. i've watched a few episodes and i find its humor fits well with hbo.
Oh, and no. Of course I'm no walking dictionary and just last week struggled to find the word "penalty" when talking about hockey with some English bloke.
ahahahahahaha i showed the sneak peek to my cousin aand brother and theyve both seen first season now.. This thing is great. WHy on earth was his girlfriend sticking with him so long? (dont know if theyve broken up or not)
