Anyone ridden this years El Rey?

Started skiing at the end of this year and decided i want to switch from snowboarding. Ive been looking at the Armada El Rey because it's supposed to be durable and good on everything and it's cheap. I live in Iowa so all i ride is park because there's nothing else.
Reviews say its a good all around ski for your first twin tips or getting into park skiing.
Looking for some real feedback though. Is this really a good ski for me to get or should i look in to something else and why.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

going to be solid for a $399 park ski, but they won't be quite as durable as a $500-$600 park ski. Still, for someone who is switching from snowboarding and looking to learn, it is a great ski. medium flex, easy to play on, still will perform at speed.

Should still last me 2-3 seasons with proper care right?

their durability is shitty from my experience, the kid i ski with got them this winter and on the 3rd rail he hit, he slid out and broke the tip off. it wasn't a hard fall by any means and it just folded the tip right in half.

Pretty light, somewhat durable. For and extra 100 bucks you can the ar7 which is really good.
