If you are going to vote in the next election and you are going to vote for Obama because hes black, you think he going to give you more welfare money, or you think he will actually fix any problems with the country please read this:

He ordered a very risky strike that Donald Rumsfeld failed to order at Tora Bora. So that's one thing.

Plus, the economy is improving (albeit slowly), not getting worse.

False. The EESA of 2008 was passed under Bush. Obama has added over 5 trillion without even counting the bailout.  As for the first part, he's gutting the military while using the special forces as a pawn for his political ambitions. All the information gathered on Osama was done using measures implemented by Bush. That same prison in Cuba he campaigned on shutting down was the source of the information. So yea, I definitely give Obama the credit.

The recovery is bullshit. We're seeing record oil prices, in part due to Obama's piss poor decisions on domestic energy (blocking essential pipelines and drilling while spending taxpayer money on a bunch of bankrupt solar companies). There is absolutely zero confidence in him. Having oil prices at record levels will drive the economy back down.

His only two "achievements" are obamacare and the repeal of don't ask, don't tell. Well done!

Incorrect. Concealed carry of firearms in national parks has only been allowed since 2010. I even looked it up on a pro gun website to be sure.

Let me put it this way. Romney has 0 field offices in Michigan, Obama has more than 20. This election will be won and lost on ground game and Romney has none. Barring another total economic collapse, Bammerz is going to cruise to a win.

Doesn't matter if Obama wins the race. If the house remains right wing then it will be ok.

Also another question, why have so many democratic politicians, governors, large scale supporters and so on quit jobs, quite politics, backed out, everything that is subjected to quiting. They realize that Obama is giving them a bad name and they are trying to get out before they can be apart of the blame.

D's are poised to make big gains in the house this year, in fact it might even switch back.

R's have an advantage in the house in that they are defending less seats, but the seats the D's are defending are relatively strong or so far facing weak opponents

as for washington, isn't it a mosty blue state anyway?

uhh ya in a wild life reserve... the only reason you would need one their is if you got attacked by an animal. All they are doing is allowing people who already had carry permits to bring it into wildlife reserves. never heard news about that regarding Obama.

Do more research though. You'll dig deeper and uncover that it wasn't Obama, but really the Republican house and congress.

Obama wasn't president when the (wall street) bailout was passed, so why would we count it? The debt has gone up because Obama was handed a recession and government spending is how you get the economy out of a recession. He didn't do enough of it though, and as a result the recovery has been weak.

Absurdly untrue. Our military budget is grossly bloated, plenty of cuts can be made without "gutting" it.

False. The actionable intelligence we got on the location of OBL was gotten through conventional interrogation methods. When they tortured KSM, he didn't give them anything. Torture doesn't work.

regarding another issue. Being that this is a ski website and knowing that a lot of people on here are HUGE about buying your own stuff and not getting nice equipment through your parents. You guys say you should work hard and earn what you have and want. ok but from what I understand, a huge portion of NS is democratic. Democrats tax the shit out of the rich and pass it down to the poor for sitting around doing nothing. People say they can't get a job, yet just this pass week i have applied to dozens of jobs. The occupy people are the laziest fucks in the country. They want everything handed to them. Think about it in another way like GPA.

You are a fucking idiot Obama did not kill Osama, Navy Seals killed him.  They had been tracking him since Bush was in office that had nothing to do with him.  And that is absolutely not true it was not a result of anything Bush did that caused our recession, that would have happened no matter who was in office it was a result of our foreign policy, sorry but you just come across as stupid, just stop posting.

I really don't understand anyone being naive enough to call themselves a liberal or a extreme conservative.  It really is not about that you should vote based on who is the better candidate not because they belong to any particular party.  This is why idiots like Obama get elected because people think a Democrat will do better than the Republicans did and because it would be "cool" to have a black president.  The problems in our economy are a result of policies that were put in place almost 20 years ago, virtually has nothing to do with Bush or Obama they both didn't take the right course of action to fix our economy.  Small fluctuations are created by Obama by increasing our debt, but all his policies will just be temporary, he isn't doing anything to change the big picture.  We are still on a very bad path economically and politically.

Actually that is false I said almost 20 years ago, Reagan was in office 1981 to 1989 last time I checked that equals 23 years ago.  If you are going to try to insult me you should probably learn to use subtraction.  I am referring to Bill Clinton's foreign policies that opened free trade with China,  he made it nearly impossible for our businesses to compete with companies based out of China paying wages next to nothing.  This in effect let China profit off of the US market, while devastating our economy.  He essentially made China a super power at our expense.

.... eh, Clinton open up trade with China, yes. But China is not a superpower, they're too export dependent, and don't have enough domestic demand to keep they're economy afloat. And China has not devastated our economy. We run a trade deficit with them, and they own over a trillion in T-bills. But their currency is tied to ours, they need us to keep they're economy going. They can't sink our economy without destroying they're own. They also invest TONS of money into US capital. If anything we're in a mutually beneficial relationship. I mean... GDP went up after we opened trade with them.

I'd also argue that US economic decline is more correlated to a lack of reinvestment in manufacturing and agricultural industries. We also let Wall St run amok and torpedo themselves.... I'm not the biggest fan of Clinton's policies, and yes, his polices have had unintended consequences, but I don't think China is one of them. I think fear of China is slightly irrational

They are definitely dependent on us, but it is not mutually beneficial in the slightest. It is a one way deal they sell to the US for much less than any of our businesses can sell for and they monopolize many industries we once dominated. Clinton did nearly exactly what Obama is doing, making policies that improve our economy in the short run but have negative long term affects that will just make the next president look bad. He gains support from idiots that see small improvements in statistical information and think automatically - Oh our economy must be doing better. But nothing has been improved at all.
