Pow ski??

I'm 6'3" and 195 pounds and want a powder ski that I will mainly ride in pow but can take it into some variable conditions. Any suggestions?

guy your size would like 191 on3p caylors.
maybe a 193 volkl schiro if you want full rocker and a more grounded feel (dont know if you have brand preference)
195 armada ak jj would be another solid choice.

are you looking to be charging down lines or jibbing around in the trees, landing switch etc?

rad. some good skis to look into would be 4frnt renegade (as mentioned above), rossignol squad 7's (these are coming out next year.), Icelantic keeper, or armada ak jj.

Tell us more about your skiing style. Depending on what and where you ski/how you you ski it any of the following could potentially work:

191 on3p caylor

192 line mr. pollard's opus (only comes in 185 for 2012, 192 new for 2013)

196 moment bibby special (governor for 2013)
192 moment jaguar shark
193 volkl shiro
195 volkl kuro
190 rossignol squad 7 (only 2013, super 7 for 2012 but s7/super 7s are supposed to be weak...)
188 armada bubba (only 2013)
191 armada magic j (also only 2013)
The list goes on.... Do some research on the ones I just gave you plus what other people will say, see what sounds nice to you, and get out there and do some demoing before you make your final decision.

do your self a favour, get a flat tailed stiff ski, you will jizz you pants if u intend to charge/drop cliffs

does a stiff tail help that much?

A stiff tail gives you more stability in speed and hitting the ground. If you had soft tail you would back seat land alot more on firmer/leftover snow.

I ski at Alpine Meadows in Tahoe and I am a weekend warrior. The cliffs size I usually hit is 30 feet and I am trying to get better at ripping through crud and a little bit of moggles because when there isn't much snow, that is what I have to deal with. I can ski anywhere on the mountain and I am trying to buy a second pair of skiers for mainly powder riding.
