Wrong way cork

What do you call it when you cork your trick the opposite way you are spinning. So if I am spinning left put dip my right shoulder down. Although the spin seems unnatural, I was able to pull it off on a tramp yesterday. Does anyone know what this is called, if it has been done on skiis before?

well if you still send your shoulder backward like a cork it's not going to be a bio, if you dont spin more than 720 then it's probably some flatspin/rodeos

someone explain to me how you can drop your right shoulder yet still cork spinning the the left.

it's not physically possible......


the shoulder drop leads into the spin...

well heres my take on it



if you make a full frontflip with twists as well, then you are doing a misty. if you go corked then come back uncorked like you do in a normal cork (aka you don't really get into a fully inverted position), then you're doing a bio.

I think a lot of you are mis-understanding him. All he's saying is spinning unnatural to your normal way, so an unnatural spin, not bio. Maybe i'm reading it wrong.

if you drop your left shoulder when spinning left that will give you a cork. he said he is dropping his right shoulder and spinning left.

I did exactly this last year for some reason I was spacing off hard before going into a corked 7, went off and dipped my ear to my right shoulder spinning left. It seriously felt so unnatural I thought that I spun the wrong way. Anyway, it turns into a flippy bio type thing. Doesn't look all that cool either, but it scared the shit out of me.

Ya It is very similar to a bio, but most bios would have a left side spin, and a slight left shoulder dip, whereas this spin I am going inverted in the opposite direction I am spinning.

So I huck a left 720, and I lean my body to the right. Is that still a BIO? cause I was under the impression that a Bio would be hucking a left 720 and leaning slightly to the left.


Next time I go tramping (a week or 2) , I will get my buddy to film on my 4s and I will post some footy in this thread!

the first one is a cork 7 and second one i dont think you can throw a left 7 and lean to the right if you did a left seven a leaned forward not being to flippy that would be bio. so personally i think your fucking up going for rodeo and you think your spinning in two directions
