So I had some time on my hands and re-edited an edit I made awhile back...which one do you guys like better? give me some critiques

i'd definitely say the first one, it seemed overall just a lot better put together
in the second video the slow mo at the beginning just seemed out of place, the zoom in effect was just annoying even though the tap was awesome. One main thing was you also totally cut out your mans whole body in like the first or second clip while he is walking good job though on both +k

Basically this. The zoom tap thing was really off-putting even though the trick was nice.

Also the way you did the intro in the first one worked slightly better than in the second one where it just kinda panned down from the fire.

numbero uno.
The second one looked like you almost rushed through finishing it and i give you props for trying different effects but they just didn't go with the footage and the short clips you had. One thing that did bother me about your first edit was the ending, the music and the shots seemed to just cut out, so my advice is to try to smooth it out a little more. they are some solid edits though!

on the first one you could get rid of the sound effect and maybe as the ending pick a more creative shot to claim the edit is yours

the second one didnt seem like it flowed with the music as well.. it felt choppy and like someone else said rushed through.. Definitely the first one.

awesome tips, thanks a lot!, ..I blew out my knee filming this, so I didnt have very many shots to work with, out of all the shots i had I thught that was the best option, next time definitely try to come up with a better ending!+k


also, +k to you guys^^^really appreciate the input

i like the first one much more. i found the second one's beginning was too slow and boring. the beginning of the first one was really well done and seemed to start the edit off joyful and fast
