Yeah right when i got pulled over i was pretty certain that i was getting one but the guy ended up being really mellow about it. I seriously lucked out though its amazing how far you can go though if you're just polite.

this is, like every speeding thread, now a claim thread about speeding!

65 in a 15, cop said I was losing my license forever, took it to his car with my reg. came back and said "keep it slow big guy." no written warning or anything.

I work at rye airfield skatepark in NH and their "driveway" if you will is a 15 and is about a 1/4 mile of just straight road. I saw some friends hanging outside and dropped it into second and took off. Cop saw the whole thing. I successfully quadrupled the speed limit and didn't get a ticket.

yeah, that should have been a reckless driving ticket, with your ass in jail for a minimum of 10days, along with a 1k ticket.

I just got one for going 76 around a semi in a 45 zone- (turns to 65 1 mile down the road) and need to call in a few weeks to see ticket pricing.

As for my best story for getting out of a ticket... I was driving casually in HS with my girlfriend at the time in the car. She was being a bitch and I thought it'd be funny to threaten her with an aggressive right hand turn. I was turning from a right hand turn lane onto a 3 lane road, doing about 55-60. Car held well, tires squealed a little. I thought I was Mr. Cool driving like a douche and all. Then lights in my mirror, Fuck. Cop pulls me over comes up and asks the standard

"Do you know why I pulled you over" - Cop
"Was it the right turn from earlier?" - Me
"Yes, Why would you take a turn like that?" - Cop
*Pause*
"Did you just want to see what the car could do?" - Cop
"Yes" - I was thrilled he gave me an answer and I didnt have to think of one.

After mosing around his car with my licence and all that he came back and asked my girlfriend if I was her boyfriend, she replied yes. He then said,

"Tell your boyfriend to stop driving like a moron" He then proceeded to tell me
"I only pulled you over because it was a populated intersection, next time you want to do something like that make sure it is not during a busy time and there are not alot of other cars around"

Chillest cop ever!

Sparknotes, Took a right turn at 55 during high traffic times. Cop let me off and told me to do it again in a less populated area.

95 in a 60...undercover was tailing me, following me between lanes changes, acting like he was a murder trying to kill me.  i floored it and hit 95 and thats when the lights came on!  it was like 600$ and since i was out of state, i had to pay it on the spot with a cc or go to jail.

I've never gotten a speeding ticket. Woo hoo party time! Actually, the only time I've even been pulled over was for turning left onto a street with a sign that says "No left turn, 4PM-6PM, Mon-Fri" when it was 5:50. No ticket though haha. Knock on wood?

you want to play the mine is bigger game i just bought my doge charger r/t and got pulled over for going 120 in a 65 had to pay a lawyer 1'g and got it knocked down to 80 in a 65 and i am on driving probation for 5 months.

my buddy ran a red light, cut through a gas station to avoid an intersection, then got pulled over. there was a six pack at my feet in the passenger seat with 2 beers missing, and a jar in the back seat with ~10g in it. (in the pocket on the back of the drivers seat. the cop opened the back door and shone his light in to check for seatbelts but didnt notice the cylindrical bulge in the pocket (or just didnt suspect anything))

no ticket, beat that. woooooo hoo
just had to dump out the beer, but we coulda been royally fucked, especially the guy driving.

YES! actually got pulled over yesterday as wel

so the cop takes my license and crap, goes back to his car for a bit, then comes back and says here is your license, I'm gonna come around you alright.. in a quick manner. I say okay. He goes and gets in his car flips on his lights and floors it. Leaving me confused...and lonely

AHAHAH my 'friend' who only has his g1 flipped his car going 175 k (supposedly)trying to show off for another friend. He had no insurance and is super fucked. Walked away without scratch lucky little fucker.
