Full tilt sizing help

okay so i had a pair of shitty boots last year that were not even made for park....i didnt have the money to even consider nice boots. well now this coming year i will have the money for full tilt boots. it says that they go up to size 29.5 and im a 30-30.5 in nordica downhill. it is weird that they would only go up to 29.5 because i would think that some athletes using them have a 12.5 foot or bigger. with that said do they have a different sizing chart? if not anyone recommend a good park boot with a larger size than 29.5

This should probably be posted in gear talk and you should probably go to a boot fitter and try a few boots on aswell....

Really nice guy, willing to help and he knows his stuff like noone else, but he usually takes a look at that boot fitting thread and offers advice right in there.

If I were you, I would get them one size too big and get the hotdoggers because Tom wallisch wears them so they must be the best. (sarcasm) In actuality go to a boot fitter ft's are not the best for everyone

A bootfitter can tell you what size is right for you., but from my experience fitting fts and dalbellos and owning both downsizing one size usually is key. I wear an 11.5 street shoe, was in a 29.5 technica diablo, and went to a 28 krypton and a 28 ft. The intuition liner really molds to your foot, so I would say downsize and use the toe caps when you mold the liners. But this just a hint go to a bootfitter the shell fit of a ft may be completely wrong for your foot, yes these boots have a progressive forward flex but they are laterally stiff. Prog fed flex + lateral stiffness = an awesome boot if it fits, but a horrible one if it doesn't. I have had many people come into the shop looking for fts and leaving in other boots cause the shell fit was completely off. The usual hot spots are the 5th toe area and top of the forefoot where the tounge curves. You should always go to a bootfitter for any hiking ski/snowboard boots, espically Cabrio boots
