AP Tests 2012

Next week begins the most wretched of all weeks of the school year. Which tests are you guys taking? Are you ready yet?

I'm taking chemistry and calculus BC. I've already taken two legit, timed practice tests for chemistry and I managed to get fives on both. As far as calculus goes, I am much less confident.

Psych this past monday: Not hard
CompSci yesterday: a little bit harder, didn't finish the multiple choice
Calc today: Not extremely difficult but not outrageously easy either
Lit tomorrow: hopefully will be a fairly linear experience

Most of calc BC seemed pretty easy. Spent way too much time on that one that asked to find the derivative of the inverse of g(x) when it had an f(x) in it on the non-calculator multiple choice..... still think I killed free response.

yeah it was, i hate when they give you shit thats like 400 years old

i definitely misinterpreted a small part of it and then realized after i had already written down evidence/analysis for it

oh well, i doubt i got the 4 that i needed, english 101 here i come!

so glad its over though, and it seemed like i was in there for 30 minutes instead of 3 hours

AP French language and culture on Tuesday.....

They totally changed the format of the exam from last year, so studying has been interesting. I'm just nervous for the part where we have to speak for two minutes comparing two francophone countries.....bleh

eh i was ready for polar, but I wasn't too clear on that radius of convergence and lagrange error one at the end... ah well.

And I actually thought the poem in Lit was great. It was pretty easy once I read it a couple times. got some alliteration, apostrophe, and rhyme scheme shifts.

english wasnt bad except my essay on the prose passage was so awful. i destroyed Q3 though, wrote about invisible man.

Stoked for some AP Statistics next Wednesday! I feel really bad for the Juniors in my class though because they have the 11th grade AP English test Wednesday morning, then immediately go to the AP Statistics test in the afternoon. Gonna be a rough day for them.

I was about to launch into an explanation of how Sydney was using repetition to convey the ensnaring nature of desire when he repeated "in vain" like 3 times. Then I realized he was talking about how he was actually fooling desire when he said that. dodged bullet there. Also, I went with Heart of Darkness for the last essay. debated between that and Ethan Frome, but I figured HOD fit too perfectly.

it was easier then i thought it would be...i expected it to be super hard but yeah my dbq was WAY better then the frqs (those were awful) and the multiple choice i think i did alright... im just hoping to get a 3 haha

Didn't read thread.

But coming from the guy who went into college with 34+ credits from APs, you're all gonna save a ton of money. It's worth the nerd shit.

I struggled on the calc exam. AP Chem was easy. APUSH wasn't too bad, but I struggled on Physics. AP Bio was a joke. That's all I remember.

I got 4s and 5s on all of them though and if you have a competent teacher and do alright in the class, you'll be fine on any of them.

It wasn't way easier than I thought it would be but still easier than I expected. and yeah I thought the dbq was pretty easy but halfway through the first frq I realized that the evidence I was using happened like 10 years after the time restraints. Then I just sort of took breaks by letting my mind wander hahaha. Oh well I hope I got at least a 3

I thought it was easy, but for some reason I somehow skipped one of the pages of the free response so I skipped an entire problem until I realized it in the last like 7 minutes of the test.  I managed to finish it, but I doubt I got all the points for showing work and such.
