A-basin closing day :(

A-basin has decided to close THIS WEEKEND. so fucking sad... just goes to show how bad winter really was when a-basin, which is notorious for its opening and closing dates, has to close in the beginning of may.

you know what this means though... Cinco de Mayo will not only just be it's regular shit-show self, but it will also be a closing weekend party! come drink, ski, and be merry.

Bummer for sure. Naturally, I'm leaving Summit Saturday on my way up to Hood for the summer. May have to swing by the beach for a couple pre-roadtrip beverages! Should be a damn fun closing weekend...

agreed, plus conditions suck. last weekend was worse then the 4th of july last year but there is still snow it is just super bad.


actually happy to see this season go, lets get a real season going next year! a-basin was never 100% open. and I didnt get to ski pali at all this year. bummer.
