I'm just waiting for Nikon to release their next semi-pro level camera so I can upgrade from my D7000. I mean i'll still keep my D7K as a second body, but I'm really looking to upgrade.
I'm not sure what to even think about this new rumored D600. I know I feel I'm personally ready to upgrade to full-frame, and I could always save and spend $3k on the D800, but I think I would rather spend $1500-$2000 and put $1000-$1500 towards another lens, flash or strobes. I'm just hoping they'll keep the megapixel count low, so that it has great high ISO performance, and also I would like it to have a fast burst rate (unlike the D800). If they do all of that, I'll definitely upgrade to full-frame, if not I might consider the D400 (rumored crop sensor) so that I can get that high ISO performance and fast FPS.

Entry level full frame at a rumored very low price, seems like a good upgrade for me, I don't know about anyone else. I know they are saying that "if created" it might not have an internal focusing motor, which isn't a HUGE deal, because they're basically only making lenses with AF motors in them now, but it would be nice to have an in body AF motor so I could use my cheapo 50mm 1.8 and other cheapo lenses on full frame without manually focusing.
I know it's really quite dumb to speculate all of this stuff so early with little information, but it's fun to think about what "could be" and what they have planned. Plus I have nothing better to do than think about the new possible camera upgrades..
So post your thoughts about this new rumored D600. I know there's threads out there for the D400, but if you want to post about that too feel free.
We'll just have to wait and see!
