Yesterday I went to tahoe city and looked at skis in Porters Sports, and was surprised to hear what the salesman had to say. He had very high praise of Line skis especially the pollard's? Whats the deal with this, are they that good? He had almost every twin on the market there besides head, and 4frnt.

In any case I got the 179 PE's out the door for 360 with mounting, free waxing ang edge sharpening all year. I stoked, and ready for winter!

I've only rode pollards once and they were incredible, which is why I'm getting them this year. They feel so solid with a perfect flex and just... so nice.

Yeah the guy at the shop only owns one pair of twins and he has the polards, said he liked them better then any other he rode, which is almost ever ski.

Porters pimps line pretty hard. I know one guy there who pretty much only rides line, and is usually quick to tell you how good they are...having said that this years lines are supposed to be quite sick.

ths friend sounds alot like my self lol ..in only ride line and i always recomend them to any one getting into skiing or getting new skis .

I got the Pollards last year. They ride well in any condition, but my only complaint is the top sheet construction. I have shredded the hell out of them. I had to fill so many splinters and nicks with epoxy last year. They don't hold up very well (the topsheets). It's not that huge of a deal, but you need to take care of them, so the entire sheet doesn't just splinter off. Hopefully they fixed em this year.

i ordered a pair of assassins MTX pros, word on the street is that they are basically an all mountain ski that you can still take into the park. i've heard from a couple people that have ridden them and they say they are sick....the assassin is more for park than the MTX and the MTX Pro. i got the mtx pro cuz they have the 80mm waist, unlike the MTX. the regular assassin has an 80mm waist too, but without the titanium matrix. im a little worried that they will be mounted too far back for rails and such (they are 85mm back from center). I'd say consider the chronics or assassin MTX Pro.

i know a guy that obsesses over t halls and i think its cause i said i wanted them and he has pe's and he just got them and im like why the fuck would you want other skis?!
