Summer Setup Tips?

With this sucky Winter coming to an end and me living in Ohio i only have a 3 month winter, i was wondering if anyone had any good tips on building a summer sesh last year i just made a quick box with pvc pipe but i was wondering if there are any tips on making it better or what to use
