Can you ride powder with armada halos? thinking about buying them for next season. I only ski east coast park anyways, but it seems like you should be able to ski powder with the armada halos because of the early rise and wider tip and tail. Thoughts?
well you can ride powder with any ski, but i feel like your asking if it would be a good pow ski, i would think you would have a fair share of problems with it.
They do alright relative to other park skis. They're very skinny though so its definitely not a replacement for width. They plow through crud and slush much better than powder
if your a strong skier they for sure work. i used center mounted 182 alpha 1's for alot of deep powder skiing this year, lean a little back and your golden
Skied a foot of powder last week in Whistler on center mounted 182 Halos. Actually rode surprisingly well considering that they are a very narrow park ski, the early rise definitely helps compared to other park skis.
