My New Video: Family Vacation Episode 5

Hey Guys,

I just completed another episode for my series and I was hoping for some opinions and critiques. I went for as much natural audio as possible and decided to try out something of a new style in filming, grading, and editing. Any thoughts?

shot are smooth and really stable ! really good filming skills..

but that was way too white IMO.. too much light, you were like + 2 ?

I do like +1 when its sunny or around +1.3 or 1.5 when its overcast. I tend to have trouble getting my skiers to stand out from the trees when its cloudy and I'm at 1.0 above. I'm not good at getting snow definition while keeping the skiers very visible in super overcast weather.

do you have a ND filter ?

from what i learned this winter, the best is to be at -1, idk if it's just me but color & texture look better when it's between -1 and like 0.5

I thought it was pretty good. I did not get bored watching it. I loved the Hendrix song, it actually fit well, which is hard to do with a classic rock song.

I loved the Hendrix part. It was really, really nice to see some fast-paced editing for a change. The speed of everything really did it for me.
