Just got home from my base ball game were I got hit on the hand batting and got a good size blood blister on my finger. My question is should I pop it? Searched around on google and found people saying yes and no. It's pretty anoying so I thought I would just pop it with a sterile pin and put a band aid on it. What should I do?
I always pop them if they're like bulging out of the skin. If it's not bulging out it's hard to pop it and get the blood out. That's just my experiences with them though.
Wash your hands well, burn or boil a needle, pop the blister, take off the dead detached skin (if you can, if yo ucan't it doesn't matter) then rub neo-sporin on it and toss on a bandaid.
I just had a HUGE blood blister from playing in a weekend long tournament...but it was on my foot.Basically I just left it, thinking it would go away on its own, but it didn't because I kept running on it. Use a safety pin and puncture the side and squeeze out all the blood ( leaving the skin). Then, make sure to treat it with neosporin. Thinking about it is way worse
