Denver airport, how long does it take to get checked bags after arrival?

I was just wondering, does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to get your checked bags after you land in Denver? I'm thinking about flying out there for a weekend of skiing after finals, but I need to ride the city bus to the greyhound bus to get my ass to Breck. From scheduled arrival to the time the city bus I need to be on leaves, I would have 55 minutes. Will I be able to make it or not?

You'll probably be fine. I've never been to an airport where it takes longer than like 15-20 minutes to get my bags off the conveyor belt thing.

Depends. I've flown in and by the time I got there my bags were there. Other times (bringing ski bags) it has been a 10 15 minute wait at the most

Sounds like either way I'd be fine. If my flight is delayed I'm kinda fucked though.

Denver airport?
I would be wary.
It's the first and largest concentration camp for when the New World Order begins it's takeover.
Forget making out with your luggage, you'll be lucky to make it out alive...

Thanks for the reassurance. I've flown a lot, and I was pretty sure I'd be OK, but I'd never really paid attention to how long it took me to get bags before.
Plus if I miss it, I can call my friends and have them come get me, bu id rather not pay for their gas from breck to denver and back.

It's quite nice for a concentration camp. I've spent the night there before.

When I landed in Denver it took no longer than 15-20 minutes after arrival to find my stuff. I though their baggage claim was a little confusing though but that was my first time ever flying so I was new to the game. It's an awesome airport though!

That' their plan, to make you feel comfortable before they gas everyone...
Seriously though, have you seen the Denver Airport conspiracy theory? It's ridiculous. I mean ridiculous as in completely illogical but it's still sort of eerie.

Denver airport blows, one of my least favorite airports in America, and trust me I've been to a few airports

When do finish school? I don't think you will be able to ski on resort. I was gonna go skiing in the southern San Juan backcountry yesterday, but it isn't very safe. Only north facing slopes have snow. Right now it is raining down in Pagosa Springs (the valley) and snowing slushy crap above snow line (which is 10,000 feet).
Oh yeah, southern san juans get the most snow in the entire state. It's a dry winter for us this year

Interesting that you ask this, because DIA is the absolute slowest of any airport I've ever been to. I've never timed it with a watch, but it normally takes 10-15 minutes longer than any other airport.

Forgot about snow making lol. We don't use snowmaking at wolf creek often. That's cool though, i might go ski A-Bay soon then. I'm gonna be in denver in two weeks time
