hey ns, i'm thinking about looking into a pretty wide ski that i can use on the whole mtn. i broke my JJs, so i want a buttery ski to replace them. basically something that my chopsticks are not: over 128mm underfoot that can carve on groomers!
i've found some new k2 189 hellbents and also new 194 liberty genomes in the $375 region, and they both sound phenomenal, but i've never skied either. suggestions? the genomes sound lighter, which will lengthen my day, but the hellbents sound like they have more camber underfoot (which i like), but i dont want something so heavy that i'll tire easily.
they'll be used for east coast dinking around, and also trips out west (and whenever i move back there). i'm 6'3" 220lbs and put in 60+ days a year. i have park skis but these may be used for jumps/jibbing as well
feel free to make suggestions/comments. thanks
