what are some of the cons to throwing on your boots and skis and hopping around on the tramp? im looking to really dial down my grabs before next season and i feel like this will set me up perfectly. i never see edits of people with skis on the tramp; its always either just sneakers or little dumb cardboard skis. I can understand maybe the tramp gets a little torn up but are their any other reasons to not go on a tramp with your skis?
It's SUPER HARD TO BOUNCE you will jump 3 times a foot and air and bee super tired. Plus you might rip a whole in your tramp. Find a long sled, that's that hard foam with lake a coat of plastic on the bottom, cut into shapes of skis, and ductape some shoes on. Thats what I did at it works like a charm
My friends and I tried this, it was super hard to bounce but we got high enough to do a backflip. It made his skis super noodley though, idk if that always happens but it happened to us.
Yeah, make some tramp skis, and just searchbar it bro. Since skis are stiff, they will spread out your weight across the tramp and you wont be able to bounce as easy. Also its really easy to cut the mesh on the tramp with your metal edges, even if they're de-tuned because knicks and burrs can hook the mesh.
i did it before and it failed completely i could barley do 360s and then one time i just took two skateboards with now wheels or trucks and i could bounce pretty high and do like lincons and flats and backs and stuff
