This will without a doubt be an amazing film, being the first high-value production spanning two years with a cinematic focus, but it has the chance to be a spectacular and best ski film ever made. Looks like they might really play the nature angle here, with all the animal interaction, looks too damn sick.

Exactly what I was thinking Mike, I've heard it's being called Skiing's answer to The Art of Flight. I hope so! Still can't get over the end kicker, it's massive.

Agreed.  I usually hate nature or other cut scene montages and just want to see skiing, but Kandide Kamera changed my mind.  Really looking forward to this film, and even jurt the title reminds me why Candide is mah fav-  Dude is just silent and shredly to a T.  So amped up for this to drop.

honestly, the shot that impressed me the most was at 2:28. Climbing like that with your skis and boots is just fucking insane.

Everything is really well brought up in this trailer. All the aspects of skiing, nature cohabitation with men, gnarly tricks and speed taking cut halfway ! Damn I want to see the movie !

And the movie hasn't even dropped yet, but that trailer was insane! Soooo stoked for this movie. More than I've ever been before!

Pe#$r Al&@*t - sorry, you guys are choking on candide's more than deserved. and by new, i was hoping candide's opening shot wouldn't be a slowed down beyond belief straight air and then they actually go back to the same, pretty weak jump to show that he backflipped it. sorry, that is just not up to par with what i expect from one of my favorite skier's in the world. seems like a digression is all im sayin. and age has nothing to do with it, hes not even 30. remember, jp walker is 37 :) and he has been working on this movie forever, forever, and ever, and ever and ever. if i shot with durtschi, dane, or sammy for 5+ years, do you realize the trailer we would we would be able to put out. and not them together, just one of them for 5+ years....it would be better than this, trust me.

More over He is among the pioneer of freeskiing when it began in 1997, he pushedbthe limits and perhps in this movie he'll show what freskiing is all about.

for the guy peter i don't know what who posted on facebook... when he says that the jump he backflip was weak i think he should wait to see the whole movie cause i was with candide when he hit that jump and it's by far the biggest jump i've seen!!!! all the jumps in la clusaz were massive and without perfect in-run just going straight on muggles over 100 kmh!!! so this guy should chill out a little bit it's just a trailer wait to see even more crazy shit in that movie

Lolo, I think he meant the first shot, slow motion in the trees shifty, then they showed a quick shot of a backflip from the same jump.
