Gap year ideas

Im taking a year off between high school and college and am in desperate need of ideas. I would like to live in a ski resort town. I have experience working in restaraunts and on a park crew. What are some good towns to live in and general cool places?

i was looking at it. but i have to have canadian residency to work there? i have very few funds to work with since my parents are kinda giving me the boo, so ill need to be working.

Work in the summer doing something that pays really well, then go somewhere with good skiing like Colorado or Utah or such. I'm going to be doing core drilling, which is going to be awful but Ill be making $18-20 an hour.

Or, you could go do some humanitarian type thing and build schools in Haiti or put in wells in Africa or something.
