Searchbarred and couldnt find any thing but yeah I was doing the progression pretty good so thought I would send a dub and i ate shit.It kinda looks like I set it wrong and spun out of the second flip. Any tips????
Basically if you were going for dub flat 7 it's not as spinny. Basically you freaked out mid air and sub-conciously did not commit to the second flip. The second flip was too spinny and not flippy enough for dub flat 7.
fixing issues like that is usually super frustrating and confusing. I would say just throw a few dub backs and then slowly start to send them more and more off axis.
Id recommend trying double lincoln first, I know they're kind of close to the same rotation but dub Lincoln helps give you the set you need for pretty much every double. You mentioned you had the set, thats a good start but try and focus on setting it alot more flippy, once you get good at feeling the set and flipping you can get more comfortable at doing them slower and floating it around to get it less inverted.
it's real important where you look after the first flip. head position is key. you sort of looked over your left shoulder (natural reaction for left spinners) which threw you into the next flip with too much spin and not enough flip. try focusing on looking back the same way you did for the first flip. you'll notice its a bit of a neck workout and feels a bit unnatural.
