Boot Help

I have some Nordica Double sixes pretty new but when ever i ski in them the insert in the boot liner is not setting right. When ever i do any spin or any nose press the insert sticks to my foot and gets all crunched when i come back to land. The left insert is fine really confused and don't know what to do SUGGESTIONS?

get a better footbed and throw out those pieces of paper?

Is this a cheap solution, because i don't want to grow out of my boots after I put a lot of money into them. Also where does one get footbeds for their boots?

A good footbed will do more than solve your specific problem- it will offer you better balance, a better fit in your boot, warmer toes, the list of benefits goes on and on.

Go to a shop (with your boots) that is known for their boot-fitting and ask about their footbed selection and which option is the best solution for your specific footshape.

You could cut your right foot off with a bread knife. That wouldn't cost you a damn thing, assuming you can borrow a bread knife from someone. Sounds like your left foot is fine so this should solve all your problems.

There are cheap solutions, and then there are good solutions. Which do you prefer?

yes. a basic footbed should only be around $50. will improve the feel of your boot too

But Generally a $50 trim to fit footbed will do little for the foot. Better to pay the $150-200 for a good custom footbed. Chances are the footbed will out live your boots so you can take it to the next bots so in the long run its not to bad value. But overall having the optimal fit from your boots is so valuable and most times a cheap insole wont offer that.

I paid $50 for a pair of non-custom footbeds and they did wonders. My boots fit better and my feet were warmer and they made wearing my boots a better experience.

Wait until the day you get a good pair of custom footbeds. You will be amazed how much better it makes the fit.

You may think your boots fit well now, but I garentee they could fit better.

tighten up your boots so your feet dont move around. if your feet dont move, your footbed shouldnt either.
