hey nsg, I think I might be going to Colorado state next fall and I was wondering if there were any potential roommates on ns? anyone going to school there?
I love it here. Im in edwards, it blows. Try and get corbett, parmalee, westfall, or durward. The north side dorms are much better than the south side.
I go to CSU and believe me its fuckin awesome good choice much better than CU...LIVE IN CORBETT!! best dorm most cool people! skiers and boarders in there and most partyers!!
what are you guys majoring in? also I need some advice on where to stay, I'm not much of a partier but I like to. help me out people. thank you. karma for people who help
I lived in Allison last year and I actually had a blast there. I'm in civil engineering so it was nice being close to the engineering building. It is close to Parmalee and Corbett so it wasn't bad walking over to hang out with people. I found plenty of parties from people in Allison though. Allison was a good compromise because I liked to go out sometimes but it wasn't too rowdy on the nights I needed to stay in and study. It is a little older but it's really not bad. I would not recommend living in the far dorms like the towers, summit, edwards, or ingersol. AV is super nice but it fills up really fast. I was actually pretty glad I didn't live in AV engineering, a lot of those kids don't get out much...
^^ unlike her i think alison is just like corbett except shittier you don't get your own sink and bathroom, and its not like you can't just stay in your room and study its all about you as a person there are also study rooms on almost any floor on corbett and it has a dining hall unlike alison which is just food for lunch, so that means you have to walk all the way to corbett whenever you want food which sucks! And i live in corbett am studying business and party every weekend ski every weekend and have a 3.3 GPA, and believe me its awesome having a suite getting your own sink and its not bad sharing a bathroom with 3 others, in my case on 2 others because my suit mate has a single room. You might want to look into a single room too if you want more privacy and people think that if you do that you won't be as social but believe me if you just get out there and talk to people you can't help not going out with everybody. I live with a friend from high school and we've never had any problems, he might be a little messier than me but next year I'm getting a house with him and two other kids i didn't know before i came to CSU, also when you come here keep your door open when your in your room chill in and whatever, you will make friends and people will come into your room its chill! YOU WILL LOVE COLLEGE IF... you get out there and not be scared to make new friends and talk to people everyone is looking for friends so have fun and maybe ill see you there next year!
I'm majoring in recreation and tourism right now, probably going to change to global tourism though. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any dorm on the north side. It is way more social, closer to the west side, or "college side" of Fort Collins, and all the halls are coed, except for Allison. The new 4th floor Parmalee "lofts" are total baller status. Academic Village and Summit are brand new and really nice, but they're filled with nothing but engineers, and most of them need to get out more. Unless you want to be an engineer, then by all means apply for those. Ingersol and Edwards suck, trust me I'm in Edwards. Newsom's really shitty. Apply for Braiden if you're black, no joke. You'll have fun though whatever dorm you get. CSU is sick and Fort Collins is awesome.
There are these 4th floor rooms and you can take an elevator the rooms have lofted ceilings they were just built this year, are brand new you there is a kitchen on that floor for you guys to use its tight everything is brand new
^^^^ haha i got into both but wasn't sure which one i wanted but i chose the cheaper one and i chose right because its not s bunch of scum bags that i heard a lot of CU students can be, not all but a lot of them. Thanks GO Rams
