I have taken the adhd medicine focalin xr for about 5 years now and I recently startes snorting it. I don't know whether its alright for me to do this or if i should stop immediately. If you have ever done this, help would be appreciated

You seem like a very intelligent individual. That was clearly what the doctor meant when he told you to take one pill daily. You could even save yourself the effort of snorting it and simply boof it. I would strongly recommend that course of action for a classy and intelligent individual such as yourself.
