this, but if your in the metro, i would go to buck hill or afton for jumps, and highland and elm creek for rails. the only problem i have with highland is that their is no middle jump, it goes from small to fucking huge. but yeah spirit was probably the best this year.

Show time was quite large for most of the year, heck their whole big jumpline is actually surprisingly big for the midwest.

Granite Peak is always the place in my mind! kids always argue where is the best but honestly granite peak puts the most into its park! groomed to perfection every night and there are features for everyone, there always perfect and there is a variety!

Granite peak the best park and some of the best backcountry noone skis any of it so there's always fresh stuff to be found. Backcountry isnt as good as Bohemia but if Bohemia hasn't gotten snow there's nothing to do.

but hands down, undisputed champ for REAL MOUNTAINS, ON REAL SNOW, IN MICHIGAN is Mt. Bohemia.
It's as wild you can get East of the Mississippi

dont do this op. buck hill is the butthole of the midwest. Grantie peak is by far the best, and ive heard good things about perfect north slopes. If youre over here in minnesota, i would recommend afton alps or spirit mountain

mad river mountain, ohio. their jump line killed it this year. i think it was a 25, 35, and a 45. the 45 footer's landing was sooo smooth. their park, capital park, is great. all of the park crew obviously takes pride in what they do, because they are always out there fixing things. they have a big air jump every now and then too, which is always good.

yeah lutsen is as close to skiing out west as you can get in minnesota. ive never ridden anything besides their early season parks which are pretty bad. from looking at videos though, their mid season park looks pretty good.

2 out of the 10 or so parks they say they have are actualy parks, that being said only two or three of them have jumps, that being said the chairlifts are slow and only hold two people normally, that being said you get less laps in a day.

Ya I rarely hit their park when its at its best too, I'm usually there early or late season, but their park is not really that great even when its at its best. Its the "big mountainish thing" vibe that makes lutsen fun.

Marquette Mountain represent. Park is sick. But word on the street is C-Burg is amazing too. Mt. Bohemia though owns everything east of A-Basin for gnarliness, favorite place I've ever skied.

Chestnut if you are in the southern midwest and Marquette if you're farther north.

Granite is good for rails but their jumps are way to short, until they fix that, not worth the lift ticket price.

Mt. Bohemia is awesome if you are a skier.

Granites season pass was only 350 last year when it was on sale paid off in like 5 visits totally worth it.
Bohemia does have the best skiing but if they don't get snow it sucks. Where granite shitty days the park is always groomed and good. and on pow days theres plenty of cliffs in and out of bounds and some nice tree skiing.
