alright so I made an account one drunken night on this dating website mostly as a joke (I put out an add saying I was seeking an intellegent hot blonde who drives a pickup truck and likes cooking) Anyways I have actually gotten a quite a few replies and was wondering if anyone has actually gone on a date from a website. I can't imagine it would be anything but awkward but if I found out the internet can get me laid this would be like a life changing discovery.

so basically has anyone ever been on a date with someone they met online, and if so, how did it go?

i came pretty close but decided against it because i dont want to stoop to that level. after the date i went on tonight, however, im reconsidering that.

it had nothing to do with POF, i was going out with a girl from work. but for the sake of a story, ill tell. i was excited since i havent had much action since i left college last semester, and this girl was pretty hot. plus i just got a new queen-sized bed, so i was looking forward to breaking it in. anyways, i originally told this girl to come to my house after work and i would make her dinner and then wed just hang out and "watch a movie" or something. about 2 hours before she was supposed to show up she tell me that shes not hungry and we should just go ice cream. i was fine with that cause it means i dont have to cook. so we go get ice cream, then we just drive around aimlessly for half an hour, doing nothing. she drops me off at my house, and i invite her in but she says shes gotta split because she needs to be home at 11:30 because she still lives with her parents. now im home alone browsing NS wishing i hadnt wasted 7 bucks on ice cream.

dude girls dont need to go on a dating website to meet guys. if they do, its probably because there's something seriously wrong with them.
