Got an exam on monday in statistics. A group of three of us are studying and starting to burn out.

Here's a question we need help with. +K for answer

According to one estimate, only 13% of Canadian start up businesses survive their first year. What is the probably that at least one among 10 recent start of businesses will survive their first year?

a).2484
b).3172
c).7516
d).999

Our current guess in answer D just based on the likelyhood of at least one business surviving when 13/100 are estimated to survive.

Based on this I would say c: 0.75 because this is a situation of binomial probability if I am correct and P(at least 1)=1-P(none) which I think is the same as that bottom one in the link.

yeah you can get a program like that on your calculator called binprob. That's how I did it.

if x is the number in the sample then false. it becomes more normal as N or X gets bigger
