Mixing toe and heel pieces on bindings

Hey I was just thinking if it would work to mount diffrent toe pieces and diffrent heel pieces from two diffrent binding systems.
Imagine having an Salomon over sized toe piece with a dildo look heel piece.
Has it been done?

haha... I have never seen it but i think that toe and heal pieces are usually designed to work in conjunction with one and other like one flowing smooth model... you might fuck yourself up by mixing and matching
I promoted my CVS and Stop and Shop card from the inside slits to the outside ones...my Blockbuster and gym ID got pissed off, but I told them, sorry guys, laminated plastics just can't cut it in the big leagues

yeah, that wouldnt work unless you got rossi and look. this is because all bindings have a different height underfoot, so your foot would either be pitched forward or backword. so no, it wont work, and i dont see why you would want that anyway.

yeah, you have to have the same brand. i heard a story in some ski mag about a guy who won the freeskiing championships or something like that with mismatched salomon heel and toe pieces so it can be done.

i had a salomon 800 bindings and the heel broke so my friend took a the salomon 700 heel and used it-it works perfectly...so as long as u stay within brand i think ur good.

the same brands usually use the same jig when drilling the bindings, but the jig has patterns for a few different bindings so it usually works out just perfectly.

Salomon toes and look rossi heels would prolly work. Wouldnt do it tho, unless you want you knees to bend the other way...
