im going to be the serious one haha, for real, you have to compete, unless your just really good throwing a bunch of sick tricks, you probably wont get sponsored unless you compete and if you dont, look at a bunch of good edits, kids that are sponsored are doing corks both ways with big spins, good rail tricks, flips and lots a switch tricks or just have a really unique style

not true, look at Cole Drexler, he would not be on the line team if it wasn't for max hill. not saying he's a shitty skier but i mean he really isn't that amazing, hill got him the in with line too because they are like really good friends. even being in a really good edit can get you sponsored, contests, of course are probably the way to go but there are alternatives.

There's also the way where you live, breath, and dedicate your life to skiing.  You go ride every day just because it's what you do.  You cant keep a job/girlfriend that gets in the way, so you get a job/girlfriend that allows you to ride every day.  You don't have to do the crazyest shit all the time, but you need to make it all look fun.  When people see you, they should wish that they could do what you do, how you do it.  Maybe one day someone will notice and help you out a little bit.  Maybe not.  But it doesn't matter.
