What do you guys use for a landing? Just turf? i was thinking of stapling turf to a big piece of plywood. will that work?

you have to understand that english is not everyones primary language

and nope I never wrote "costed" haha it's just that people that made this mistake probably speak another language. English is not hard, true, but some people are learning it and they have not been speaking it since their birth like you(I guess that you're american or canadian)

?? Am i missing something here? Pretty sure texted is the past participle of the verb to text. Maybe i've understood what you mean but texted is a word.

But yeah, agree wit the cost vs costed thing.

Since text is not a verb (it's either a noun, as in "sending text" or an adjective, as in "text messaging") why not avoid the whole thing and say: "I sent you a text message?" or "I text messaged you"?

texted sure is not a word.

to text is a verb. this is how you get the words texting and texted.

Apparently it was in the June 04 edition of the OED that the verb 'to text' was included, including the gerund and present participle texting and the past participle texted.

thats up for debate in many "online" dictionaries.

like seriously? the sayings "bootylicious" "swag" "bling" etc can be found in SOME dictionaries.

texted is not a word. say it out loud. text ed, texted, textted. it sounds fuckin stupid.

the oxford english dictionary isn't just some dictionary, its the 'most trusted and comprehensive english dictionary to this day'.

doesn't matter how you look at it, texted is a word. you may not like like the word and its your choice to use it or not but its definitely a word, As is bootylicious which is also in the OED. the general consensus is once it is in the OED it is an official word.

I'm afraid you have to accept that texted is a word.

its slang.
BUT it is in the dictionary.
dictionaries are not the reputable source they used to be. infact with online dictionaries, theyre kinda a joke to sell more hard copies.
youre not going to sell more copies unless you introduce more content, meaning new "words".

im afraid you have to accept that texted makes you sound fuckin retarded.

After about a month, 1 drilled thumb, and $70 (for turf/fence) heres what I came up with. All of the lumber was free too which helped immensely. I am most likely going to make some adjustments to it so the tranny isn't so quick. The speed is perfect though I dont even have to use soap. Sorry for the dark pics. Feedback is much appreciated!

What so much money!! The only cost for mine was like 40 bucks in PVC pipes for two rails and a box. scavenged around all our bros houses for extra lumber and what not. So free for everything else.
