Searchbar'd but didn't see anything. This video just popped up on my FB. They're called Marquette Backcountry skis, and I guess they're specifically designed for shredding through grass/dirt/thin snow.
friend picked up a pair and borrowed his for a little tour this winter. while i had fun the ski didn't exactly inspire confidence on the ski down (but it was mounted with ancient tele binding) and didn't do well going up steep areas. fun for rolling terrain where you are earning turns
super cool idea - see a lot of potential for this in the future. seems like a perfect EC back/side country ski if it actually skis well. also, if they come out with a park oriented version for hitting summer setups, dryslope, and urban without worrying about your bases and edges thatd be ill.
