Looking to get into smoking

Look, I know this is a stupid thread and all, haters gonna hate, whatever. I'm looking to start occasionally smoke weed. Yeah, I'm a badass, get over it. I have a few friends that smoke so I wanna do it occasionally do it with them. I was thinking of just buying a cheap little metal pipe and a grinder. Anything else I need to get started? I don't really know where to get weed but I'll check around. Also, what's it gonna be like my first time? Am I gonna cough like a bitch? Really I'm just looking for some helpful tips to get started. If you're actually 14 just wait a couple years man, its worth it. I know so many kids who started at 13-14 and are now burnout scumbags. I swear the later you start the better you are. You won't regret not doing it now if you do it later, but you'll regret doing it now later.

literally like 99% in higschool of all the kids who started smoking and drinking way early ended up as total fuck heads. If there is no pressure right now, just dont do it. Your not missiout out. You might feel peer pressure or whateve but its retarded. Drinking is one thing, smoking just leads to wayyyyyy worse habits IMO. Drunking can lead to bad habits as well, but they dont call mari j the gateway drug for a reason. 95% of the people who smoke dont really go to far but i feel like those who started smoking real early like 14ish are the ones who really fucked up there lives

Since everyone else is giving you some advice I might as well throw in my 2 cents.

A couple years ago I was in a similar position as you are now. I wanted to pick up smoking weed just for a casual hobby because it seemed fun to do (I had a few friends who did it a lot). I did it with my friends twice, and the second time I thought it was fun but in the end I decided it wasn't for me. It made my throat really inflamed and I was uneasy with being high. Some people like the feeling and others don't, that's just how it is.

I think it's dumb how hard people are on others for trying weed. Everyone's curious about it but some people take the risk to try it. Who cares what others think, if you're really interested just see for yourself(I was 17 though so maybe wait until you're a bit older).

I started blazing at the end of 8th grade, so 14 almost 15. I can definetley tell you weed is fun, but it is still illegal. The consequences of getting caught, depending on where you live, are probably not worth it. Just wait a little while, you'll handle your shit better and so will the people around you, but if you really want to, go for it.

And to everyone saying people who start smoking early burn out, that's bullshit I know a kid who started smoking in 5th grade, he's now in high school and still is doing good. It's just a matter of not getting in to deep and managing yourself.

Well if you were around 16-18 I would say go on and start smoking but since what is sounds like from other member thats you are 14 I would not want you too start. Take the advice from my older friend who's now in his Senior year of Highschool and got really fucked over at 14 from a cop and now no colleges will let him in and yea Weed isn't that bad it's just the law that will get you in more.

you should really go to 420 for threads like this but I'll help you out.
My first time smoking was a ton of fun even though like others have said before me, you usually only get a buzz your first time. we smoked out of an apple and I don't remember coughing much at all, but it really depends for everyone. watch out for the smell and always blow the smoke up towards the sky so it doesn't get on anyone's clothes. get a little crew together and just chill out in someone's house while nobody is home and play some tunes, make some grilled cheese and just have fun. your first few times getting high will be your best so enjoy them! I would say you picked the right time of year to start because I started around this time of year as well and it will make this summer one of the best in your life. Instead of buying a metal pipe just get a lighter and mooch off of your friends for the first few times. I made a bubbler out of a baby bottle pop and a trumpet mouthpiece that worked really well for a while (pm me for more info) until I bought a glass piece that I still use today. You won't really need to buy your own weed for a while and you probably won't need a grinder at all unless you rolling j's. It sounds like your going to be smart about this but just remember not to get carried away and make stupid choices. I've made my fair share of stupid decisions involving weed but I've still managed to not get caught. Good luck and enjoy yourself man! pm me for questions and shit.

this is true, but for a first pipe its not a big deal if its metal. the only real drawback of a steel pipe is that it makes the taste funky, which isnt a huge deal if youre a beginner. his 15 year old friends are most likely smoking bush weed anyways, so who cares about the taste? its also nice to not have to worry about breaking it so you can just throw it in your backpack or something and never worry about it.

yea one of my friends turned into a burnt out scum bag. he gets money from his mom to buy pot and get prescribed xanax and some other pills just to get high. and when he comes to smoke with people he pisses everyone off because he never brings bud to smoke and expects to be smoked out. just the other day i loaded the fat .4 hash bowl and we skipped him every time since he didnt bring his weed. now he is no longer aloud to come and smoke with us since supper mad that he didnt get to smoke and begged to get a hit and took one when no one wanted him to. dont turn into a douche bag who only cares about getting high.

also why would you do this? you are pretty young why pick up a abad habit? it really isnt that great. its ok on a powder day once the fresh turns run out but besides that I just really dont get sitting around and smoking a bowl.

also if you have weed or a pipe you are going to be bugging out about your mom finding it, it just isnt worth it.

If you wanna go for I think people should at least try it once. I personally don't smoke but if you end up getting into it be responsible and careful. My sister has had alot of problems with drugs in her life and multiple near death encounters with hard drugs and if youre not smart about it I think smoking weed can lead to much worse things.

This is because you're 14 and don't know how to moderate yourself under any type of non sober condition. Of course if you're 14 you'll get your stomach pumped after getting wasted, it sounds like that was your first time too. Once you're able to handle yourself and not be a fucktard, things can be fun. It goes with everything. Don't "get into" smoking, just have the opportunity come up with your friends. Don't buy anything until you like it. If you really do start buying weed, have it not be a sketchy person, but more so a friend's friend. You need to be calm for everything, and if you can be calm, everything will go better than expected. Final piece of advice, don't be a cocky little shit. You'll get nowhere in life.

I mean i guess they are pretty tight, a little tough to use though. IMO a vape should be simple, check out craigslist on your surrounding area and look for a magic flight launch box or iolite.

Honestly, Just try it a few times dont buy your own equipment. For me smoking weed is only desirable for coming home from a hard day of work, cooking a nice dinner, rolling a blunt and kicking your feet up on the couch with a good movie. Since you are at your parents house you cant very well do this. Its not worth the shit your parents will give you if you get caught. just try it a few times and wait till college to do it more often. Being high isnt even that great compared to being that perfect level of drunk.

just don't be a lazy messy unmotivated stoner. Getting high is fun n all, but only if you use it sparingly and at the right time--ie: don't get high before you have to do somehting important, or before you do anything fun or anything creative, which is how a lot of stoners act--if you can function just as well high as not high, then you're way too into weed and (in most cases) have definitely mentally degraded since before you started smoking.

Do not let one bad experience sour you on drinking. I can guarantee you that if you know what your doing being drunk is 25 times better than being high. Granted hangovers are a bitch but as you get more experienced you can eliminate hangovers as well.
