I've heard a lot of people bitch about this jacket being cold but I have not had a problem with it. It's super soft and it has lots of convenient pockets

Well maybe the shell version with the zip off sleeves. Like you have to layer up on those brutally cold days but you have to with any jacket, for me its got just the right amount of insulation (just a bit, but not a shell). Its also super light weight.
