I've heard great things about the chetlers. But i have not skiied them. I own the opus and i love them, they are a little on the soft side but nothing compared to the ep pros from the previous years, they are great for stomping big cliffs, spinning and they float very nicely too. Also, you can take em on the groomers with no problem and ski very controlled, and fast. hopefully that helped, if i had the choice i would choose opus.
The Bent Chetler has a softer tail than the Opus. The tail in the Bent Chetler was stiffened up for 12/13 but is still softer. The Opus skis have a more directional feel to it than the Chetlers, part of what makes the Opus so solid all over the mountain.
