Majority of NS members are High School Underclassmen?!

Not hating on you kids, I just never would have guessed.

I just took an "age" poll under the community tab and when I saw the results, I was a bit confused. This site is made up of High School underclassmen. No offense to you guys or anything but jeez I feel old and no wonder there are so many trolls on this site.

yep.. half of them haven't even seen area 51 or 13. they don't even know who kent kreitler or shane anderson are either. But i'm sure all of them can jump around a flat box like a ballerina at 2mph

well maybe the information isn't correct considering not EVERYONE has answered the poll. The average ages were 15 and 16. Which are the underclassmen of high school, which explains the large number of trolls.

I wonder what the average age will be in 5 years. Like will it be 16 again because that's the age of new members and the most interested? Or will these 16yo kids remain the big group making 21 the biggest group. Hmmm

Maybe, the only statistics I remember pertain to analytical chemistry, where it would be unreasonable to prepare that many samples so I always did like 5 or something.

We should have a pinned thread with a poll, so a lot of people do it. A lot of people seem to be curious. It would be cool to see what the average age of an nser is. People say a lot of younger kids are picking up skiing now. Is it true? Hopefully everybody answers truthfully too...

Its funny the other day I was at best buy and there were a bunch of underclassmen that were walking around, who were dressed and acted like me when I was that age....i'm 22 now and it made me realize, if I could I'd slap my 15/16 year old self in the face.
