Hey Everyone,
So we are somewhat disappointed in the overall support for this edit so far. Our season has ended and even with the major lack in snow this year we worked really hard to get this video done. After spending alot of money and time doing what I love, which is filming great athletes all I want is a little in return. CHECK OUT THE EDIT. Unfortunately so far no one has shared it with their friends and it really hasn't made it very far through the web. We would really appreciate it if you guys could watch, share your opinions, and if you like it share it with your friends.

I'd like to say that edits like that just aren't the NS cup of tea, but then again Nimbus and other pow edits do get people excited. On Vimeo you have 320 plays right now, on NS 660 - not bad for a no-name edit that's only been up for a few days. Why haven't you posted this on Epicski, or TGR? Downdays? Have you asked all of your friends to share it onwards on Twitter, FB etc? One declining factor is the title, I guess, along with the long sponsor intro, might hurt views as peopel are so quick to dismiss an edit if it doesn't begin with a bang, catchy beats or at least what it's about from the get-go, maybe make it a bit more clearer that this is a season edit?

It's only been a few days - if it has an audience, it will find one if you just try a bit harder I'm sure. Just don't make a fool of yourself by demanding views and playing the whole "I spent a lot of money and time on this" argument, most filmers are on the same boat.

That said, I enjoyed the skiing, but thought the music choice was a bit too mellow for my tastes combined with some longer shots.

some great shots, but most of it was either shaky or completely out of focus
sometimes i thought you must have used an VCR cam from the 80's

also contest footage sucks

Thanks Mike for a serious response, appreciate it, thats all we were looking for was some help on getting the video out. I didn't expect much from newschoolers seeing as it is almost summer but I also didn't expect straight hate haha. Unfortunately we have exhausted all our recourses for sharing the video via social site, and are now on these forums. Thanks for the thoughts once again and I will get on a change to the intro and sharing it on the other ski sites asap.

As far as the title and video, if you watch the last shot the announcer yells that at the end of his run so we thought it was funny, obviously not... also this is not supposed to be a epic cinematography reel by any means, its a season edit with footage compiled from everyone who shot him (as has been said we need to make this more clear I guess.)

Finally am I asking for anything in return? Not really, im not asking for your money or for you to attend a show or buy merchandise or any of that shit, just watch a 3 minute video which I know you do everyday on the internet anyways and share it if you think hes crazy or you like it to help get this kids name out there... he won both jft and ifsa big mountain overalls this year I believe and is pre-qualified for all the big boy events next year. All we need is you to help us get his name out seeing as he is a no name to you guys going into this next year.....

he ended up hanging in some roots with a 20ft drop to a avy path.

Yes! I thought the intro was much better, not to mention starting out with an interesting shot. Maybe one final opinion from me would be to continue George's name all through the first two shots and not fade away so people really see it, but maybe it doesn't matter anymore as the StompTown title is gone.

But I like this one a lot more.
