So I have some 2010 jj's (the darker graphic ones) and I was thinking about spray painting everything but the two orange/yellow parts a matte black think it would look dope?
it would chip off/come off. whatever paint you use. even if your using proper shit like molotow or mtn. a spray varnish over the paint could work but i dont know. tbh i would just leave the graphic as it is but what i said could work.
Sand up the topsheets and spray just a few very light coats so you can still see the graphic coming through. Mask anything you want no paint on. I've done this to a few skis now and really like the effect. It scraped up a little over time but that still works.
Yea can't post pics of the skis cause I'm on mobile but there's an area on the tip and tail that's orange/yellow and I'm thinking covering that up and using a flat black and just covering it completely
Sand it down, than once youve Painted it use commercial crystal clear enamal on it and that basically forms a thick plastic coating over the top sheet. My armadas lasted 3 years like that with just minor chips
