OK hold the motherfucking presses here...

What I see is that there is this gigantic RedBull contest going on, where the are claiming they're going to build the single craziest idea ever suggested. In theory this is amazing...

HOWEVER

I'm extremely upset that this contest isn't being strategically attacked by our website with a flood of the greatest fucking ideas ever to be conceived.

I mean jesus christ people... this is RedBull giving you a potentially unlimited budget to do something that skiing has only ever fantasized about....

Lets up the ante... if its a newschoolers' idea (post it here when you submit) that wins, we'll send you one of everything we have in the store, as well as making sure to attach your name as the legenday visionary that made skiing cool again.

So if you've already entered, share what you've done here and lets help 'em up the ranks. If not... well then jesus what in the balls are you waiting for?

LOL . some of the ideas are SOOO bad and poorly thought out haha.

The fucking MMA in a skydive chamber? Are you fucking kidding me? That wouldnt work at all, its hard as shit just to stay floating in one, let alone have two people fight in it hahaha. another idea was a heated chairlift! what an insanely huge waste of energy it would be .. a ski resort would just build a gondola, not have no put heaters in 100 s of chairs and run them all day long in freezing weather hahaha

some people are just soo goddam stupid...

other ideas include driving a motorcycle from virginia to california, or a ski jump with a waterfall landing... like wtf is this shit hahahahah.


the one cool idea i found was a helicopter pilot who wants to try to hover a helicopter completely upside down. sounds like it may actually be somewhat possible, and red bull might actually consider doing it. there are sooo many bad ones tho lol .

from the uk so someone can steal my idea-(but if you win i get 50%)

something along the lines of red bull rampage but on snow. find a big mountain and give the contestants a week to build their own line from top to bottom. some big bc features will already be built by redbull (along the lines of travis rice's recent north shore comp) which the contestants can choose to use or not. no rails, no record breaking tricks, but to win you have to stylishly get down the mountain throwing down a smooth run while picking the biggest lines and sending them with unbelievable tricks. a ski and a snowboard invitational with quali's and then a different line for the final.

would be so sick to see the skiers carve their own lines, tailor making the course to suit their style

I want to see a ski/snowboard contest in bounds at a resort. top down summit to parking lot. Each rider must start at the top, each rider will be judged on fluidity, variation of terrain utilized, and difficulty. Including terrain park features, big mountain lines, trees, moguls, cliffs, lower mountain jibs. This would truly show who the best rider is as there are endless threads about who is the BEST..Take a little supernatural, sprinkle in some cold rush, on a bed of park, pipe, and rail jam with maybe a half pipe or mogul field. Then we will see who is best.

Alright so just throwin this out there but you know Simon dumonts custom half pipe? Do something like that on the streets where the buildings (preferably skyscrapers) are so you can fucking wall ride that shit and since there's alot of room in the streets stick a bunch of boxes/ rails in there do its like urban/pipe/slopestyle

Aright here's the IDEA FOLKS:

STEP 1:
Put a bunch of action sports athletes on a giant cruise ship heading to Alaska.  Build a mega ramp, skate/bmx park, break dancing floor etc on the boat so it is baller as hell. 

STEP 2:
Get to AK. Find a big ass ice berg.  Get a shit ton of guys on there with chain saws, crampons, ice pics, shovels, jack hammers, whatever.  Get them to build a JOI style kicker.  Extensively chop the landing so it's nice and soft.

STEP 3:
Acquire jet skis.  Tow skiers into the ice berg at like 100 km/h.  They might have to use fatty pow skis to be able to water skim properly. They would also have to wear life jackets to prevent potential drowning. HAVE BABES DRIVING THE JETSKIS, THIS IS IMPORTANT.

STEP 4:

CALL IN THE REDBULLS HELIS, GET SOME BALLER BEATS BUMPIN FROM THE CRUISE SHIP, AND GET THE SICKEST SHOTS EVER FROM THE COOLEST BIG AIR IDEA EVER.

I'm starting to get a few ideas from the EA Skate 3 game. Im thinking if we could have a few empty slopes on a mountain and the riders choose their own features for the competition. RedBull would build two courses which combined each of the riders wants. Each rider would have 4 runs (two on each course) and best score overall would win. thoughts?

sounds like the winter ski slopestyle version of the 5000 down that redbull does in whistler every year for biking.

I have a new idea.. a redbull sponsered ski movie, with the budget of art of flight. featuring: Tom Wallisch, Sean Pettit, Bobby Brown, Pep Fujas, Gus Kenworthy, LJ Strenio, Sammy Carlson, Candide Thovex, and one more athelete in which newschoolers gets to vote. The movie is basically a skiing version of art of flight , but has some urban and some more park . and only features the best of the best in terms of riders.

make ski/snowboard event based around spectators. Ive seen some incredible events, the only problem is they are at night in subzero temps. people would rather watch football replays in the lodge than the usopen big air finals live outside...
