How to make a tube Rail?

I recently got a 12 foot tube of PVC for free. I wanna be able to make this quickly and easily by myself? use as little wood as possible. thanks.

Buy a 12 foot 2x10 board and screw the pvc to the top of that and screw three 2 foot long 2x6's to the bottom of the board for a base. Here is what it would look like.

If it is like one of the big ones there are a couple ways to do it, cheapest is probably to just cut a groove in some wide like 10x4s and set the rail in it, one piece of wood= 3 supports. it works all right, the only thing is that you might catch the sides of the wood.

Hmmm, im not sure. Im gonna make 3 legs and put one 12 foot 2x4 underneath with legs.

If the rail is too wide though it could rip out, so be careful about that, but yeah I have two rails probably each with a 3-4" diameter and they work well like that. I did the 3 legs for my 8" diameter tube though.

Get a 10 foot 2x4 cut it into eights and put four length wise under pipe and drill from bottom (make sure no wood is in the way were you slide. Drill the other 2x4s wide way into other 2x4s and cover those with turf

alright If you tube is really wide then make 2 legs and it'll work fine like this look at the legs(bottom left)

I got a 12" diameter 20 foot pvc tube arriving this weekend. It weighs like 300 pounds so I think I'm going to dig a little trough for it to sit in

The largest I have is 6" and I think that if you asked around most people only have 6" diameter pipes as being the larger (generic construction site) ones. 8 seems a little overkill and definitely adds to the wight making it harder to move.

dont drill from the top! Drill from under the wood, thru the pvc while having some sit on the pvc so it will suck to the wood.
