Upload picture from computer option?

I often post meme based pictures and such in NSG. I'm wondering if anyone else would like an option to upload a picture directly from their computer instead of copy/pasting an image URL for each picture. Doing this saves people time and effort because they can build up a collection of good pics on their comp. I know this is how posting pictures works on 4chan but maybe this option is exclusive to image boards? I don't know, but I'm interested in what you guys think.

If you have the fancy GUI editor enabled, click on the "Insert media" icon and then the orange Picture button. It can be done but it's not one click away like on 4chan.

We know this limitation of our system. As Malcolm said, there's a way to do it currently, but its really crappy.
We are planning to implement this feature over the summer when we overhaul the forum posting system.
