I have turf for summer skiing and i got a good rail, but it doesn't slide like at all. I added water to the turf and even tried flipping it over and it still doesn't work. What can I do to make it slide more? Also, is base wax good for waxing rails?

what doesnt slide well? the turf or rail?

for the turf just add soap(a lot) or just use orange construction fence for your drop in and turf for your kicker. also if your rail is made of metal then use some normal candle wax.

The turf doesn't slide like at all. I heard I have to remix the wax on my bases though. How do I do that?

remix? you mean remove? cause I've been riding my skis for 3-4 years and I never waxed them and they slide really well on turf, just use water and soap and even lube haha it works

My skis seemed to slide better once the wax was worn off.

Dish washing liquid, put a little bit on and spray the hose dircectly on it to get it foamy, that'll do it

I know its probably the worst thing you could use for the grass, but I just use powder tide detergent, and then spray it with the hose till it gets soapy. Works great

i had the same problem with the turf. i got some wood for under the turf and it works so much better now.
