Your worst injury?

I have been pretty damn fortunate thus far in my life in terms of serious injuries up until today. Its actually not too serious but heres what happened:

During the process of constructing my summer drop in I was holding a 2x4 while attempting to drill and long story short the drill slipped and it literally went right through my thumb. It didnt hurt too bad but right when I noticed what happened I flipped the fuck out. I would rather face something minor like this rather than having a season ending injury any day though.

While skiing I tore my ACL, MCL, and mensicus after doing a 360 off a 20 ft cliff. Tomohawked 3-6 times. it sucked.

Otherwise I had to get 27 stitches when i got bicycle kicked to the face in soccer.

FInally I had to get 20 stitches when a glass shard got stuck in my skull when I hit a glass table (my cousing and I were wrestling near it)

my worst would either be broken skull + severe concussion or ruptured spleen.

Was skiing on new carving skis (for instructing) on a day when we has 6 inches of heavy snow because my pow skis were getting fixed (they also had my boots).  So I am on rental boots, skinny skis with sharp edges and I hit a jump off a bump into fresh snow and I ejected my skis, tomahawked twice and landed on my skis.  My jacket had risen up up and I got a huge cut on my hip that went about 1/2 an inch deep.  Ended up with between 35-50 stitches

The mountain closed the next week so it was a season ender

I sprained my pinky in a pillow fight once, turned all purple and swelled up but never broken a bone. Actully i fucked up my neck doing a backflip, but i didnt even go to the hospital, wasnt bad.

collapsed lung and fractured sternum from a fall flat on my back was probably the scariest, sternum not so much, but the lung was weird, for a moment i felt like i was gonne die from suffocation...
fractured sternum kept hurting for months after, especially when coughing or lifting things

then 3x broken wrist, never hurt really bad tough...

and a broken ankle from jumping off some stairs, hurt like a bitch but healed 100% while my wrist still hurts sometimes ...

and also a pretty bad road rash from going 60 kph on my longboard, getting towed behind a car, then suddenly i got speedwobble and fell head first into the concrete ...

severe critical condition concussion while riding bmx home from skatepark. Tried to nollie over this short curb timed it wrong head over heals side of head to concrete. Head swelled so much. Nastly road burn on left shoulder. hospital for 8 hrs with neck brace on to make sure I didn't break my neck. Lady in teh room next to me and her phone kept ringing and my head felt like it was going to explode

almost, I barely see. because of this I cannot ride switch while looking left so I have to spin unnaty, it sucks but you get used to it with time

well im not sure if dislocated is the word for it, maybe separated? i had minor back pain for like a month or so (im assuming it was slipping?) but anyways, one day i was i was kicking it with some homies, drinking and what have you. i forget exactly why, but we were running around or something, but all i remember is turning to look over my right shoulder while sprinting to see what was going on behind me, just to smash my left hip off the side of my friends car.

i dont know how it happened, must have been a combo of a full speed impact and the turning of my head and shoulders, but i hit the ground hard, and knew i did something to my back. but i was hammersmashed so i just kept kicking it, but it hurt a lot worse.

next morning, i couldn't move.

Lost the toe nail on both of my big toes off a single drop in. Our spotter told us the landing was clear. Turned out it was a completely flat ice sheet on top of a rock. Hurt like hell but it wasn't really that bad

footbal i dislocated my kneecap broke my radius and 3 fingers
and in lacrosse i have a pinched nerve (not really an injury but i cant feel anything in that finger) and i took a shot to the back of the neck and stright up collapsed to the floor in pain i still have a lump in the spot.

ruptured my spleen but that wasn't too bad

my worst was cutting my leg open mountain biking. i had a gash 4 inches by 3 inches on my shin right below my knee and the bone was running through and muscle tissue was hanging out and it was nasty. i was bed ridden for a month and on crutches for 3 months

thankfully I haven't had a really bad injury yet. worst would be breaking my pinky finger playing basketball, or breaking my pinky toe playing soccer in bare feet. or one day I was biking and for some reason I put my hand down do something (I forget what) and my middle finger got caught and went around the chain, and the nail on my finger was cut right in half on top and about half way through my finger.

my friend was jumping on it and he landed on the edge of the tramps which broke 3 spring and they all flew up everywhere. With my bad luck I got one right in my eye. My iris broke as you can see in the picture and I had to get it sewed back into a circle(iris cerclage).Now I barely see from this eye and people cannot notice that my eye is broken(actually only 1 person knew without me telling him)

I fucked up my knees a long time ago.I believe I tore my ACL. I´m not a 100% sure that it was my ACL, just that I tore something in my knee and it got fucked up big time.
The most painful thing I´ve had to deal with was when I tore a muscle in my left leg this winter. Everytime I moved it felt like I got stabbded in the leg.

Jeez I've been pretty fortunate too, my worst injury was this past summer when I tore my hamstring. Not that it was that painful or terrible but it never healed back right, and it took me about 6 months to recover and build the muscle up. I missed out on my senior year of collegiate cross country and track & field. Most depressing injury for me for sure.

Broke my collarbone twice last winter but thats all fortunately. Although most painful thing that I have experirienced was an ear infection in november.

one of my best friends ran over me with my boat this summer while i was surfing. mangled the bottom of my left leg beyond repair. now I'm a bionic man from the knee down, then in december fell over, and broke my let femur in 2 places, and also my tibial plateau. its whatever though...life goes on and at least it wasn't above the knee, and I'm also pretty stoked i didn't bleed out on the back of my wakeboard boat. the only really shitty part of it all is that my dad sold my nautique two days after the accident...
beat that.

When I was in 9th grade, I caught the front tip of my snowboard on a rail that was set up like

_____---------- and flipped forward onto my shoulder/head, snapping my clavicle. The worst part wasn't the break itself, but the fact that the bone was straining against my skin trying to break through, and it felt like I was being jabbed in the shoulder with a knife every time I moved my arm.

Then, the next year, I ejected over my handlebars on a gap over some rocks to grass when my front tire sunk in some mud, and ended up snapping my other clavicle, chipping the socket of my shoulder joint, and partially tearing my rotator cuff. Shit sucked. I had to learn how to write/do everything left handed because my right arm was strapped to my body in a sling for like 2 months.

Other than those two, I've been pretty lucky as far as injuries go. No major breaks, and I've only had to get stitches once, when I was wrestling with a friend and sliced my head open on a glass coffee table.

nothing too bad, knock on wood.

i bruised both of my heels really really bad skiing. took a 45 foot jump 60 feet and landed switch on flat. i couldnt walk for 2 weeks and went skiing 3 weeks later, with a ton of advil.

i also bruised the back of my calf really bad on the same jump, i under rotated a frontflip and knuckled the jump. and that was the first day back from the injury above. i couldn't ski for 4 weeks and if that leg had the smallest pressure on it, i would feel like throwing up.

i also broke my nose in a pool doing a gainer. i didnt get it around and landed on my neck, then my knee came down and broke my nose, there was sooo much blood, and my nose is still bent.

I've had 3 ACL repairs, 2 of them with meniscus as well. Along with that 2 concussions, a broken wrist, staples in my head, and stitches in my finger.
