This is pretty nuts. It's all about how our current way of life is completely unsustainable. The creator, Chris Martenson, puts it in terms of the economy, energy, and environment, and unfortunately it is painfully clear that he's right. It's logic.
If you consider the fact that this guy was once a VP at Pfizer and switched over to doing stuff like this [this series took him 4 years to make], you'll get a sense for a) his intelligence, and b) the scope of his thoughts. I called it "fear mongering" for a while (as I figure many may) but when you get to the, the picture comes together quite clearly. It's based on very concrete truths.

Even if you watch just the intro...at least do that. If you have the time, watch the whole thing. I'm no economics guy [me = engineering] so even the stuff about inflation was new to me, but the rest I found very relevant and I'm sure others will have interesting things to say about all parts of it.
