Dyed all black full tilts - thoughts?

Im not sure if this is a good idea or not... but i was thinking of murking out my 2011 classics. Would this look sick or not? Anyone done it and have pics?

my brother just dyed his red hotdoggers all black, they turned out pretty sick.

Decided to keep the buckles green and put a green FT diecut on the toe of the tongue (not pictured) but i will probably go back and dye those black too. stoked on how they came out!

I dyed my light blue and yellow booters from a couple years ago black and they turned out great. Just leave them in the dye for a good 2-3 hours.

I actually left them in overnight because i started at like 11:00 and i didnt want to stay up just to take out boots. Its super wierd because the full tilt logo on the parts that i dyed stayed the same silver color, but everything else turned black.

and to ^^, I probably will dye the buckles I just wanted to see what it would looks like first.

Im 99% sure you dont dye your liners. or at least I wouldnt.. Something about putting my expensive heat molded liners into boiling dye doesnt seem right.

correct, i really have no clue why anyone would. As long as you run the dyed parts of your boot under running water for a few minutes, all the extra dye will come off. And to the guy above you, you dont put the whole boot in the dye haha. you take it apart first and then only dye the parts you want to.

RIT dye, the whole package. Be carefull with it though because a got 1 little grain of it on my white shirt and now there is a huge black spot.

Yeah my comment looks dumb, what I ment was does the dye on the boot shell and plastic parts rub off onto things e.g. pants. And also does the dye stain the liners? Is the dye water based or oil?

No. Just use whatever RIT dye you want in any color, as long as it is darker than what your trying to dye.
