how does ARMADA measure their skis?

yeah, a 179 k2 would be about 183-184 (my PEs are about that length)

and i ski 50 % park / 50 % all-mtn.
powder isnt the big deal, cuz i have a special ski for it.

How does the mounting point affect the ski?

Longer ski -> more style, control on big jumps and they stand more speed
Shorter ski -> better for jibbing, smaller jumps and so on

I would recommend a little longer skis.

And for the mounting. Im not sure, but if it's more in the back than the center you can land more in the front seat. Don't be counting on my opinions/knowledge

you will have more problems skiing powder with a more forward mount.

true center on the AR5s is +3 forward from recommended mount - really only good for park, though

id recommend something around your height or a little under being 181 cm tall and riding 170cm skis is pretty short....im about 175 cm tall and i ride 180 and 179

i recomend you center mount your big mountain skis...especially because everyone on this site tells you not to.

yeah but i was also riding 161 cm 1080's when i was just 174 or so and it worked good.
