I know that for me skiing is the one thing that allows me to be free from stress and the rush of everyday life. i define skiing as doing anything on two pieces of planks on your feet, and when i have these planks under my feet, in any circumstance, i am filled with joy.
thats what skiing is for me, but what does it mean for you? i am curious...
i completely agree, a couple years ago i hit my head hard and got a concussion and had bleeding in the brain: my season was over. this was painful for me and not just physically but painful in the fact that i could not ski for the rest of the season. in the big picture of things, a season isn't that long but it felt like forever.
"Only the things that you truly love will you pursue with that energy, and for me my family, my friends, and skiing, that's it for me, that's my life. The joy I get from skiing...that's worth dying for." - R.I.P. CR Johnson
