No. Make something that people will get and find funny. Every time someone on NS does that as an inside joke, it's not funny and they take it too far.

Orwell didn't really write satires. A satire uses humour/wit to criticize society/government/other types of institutions. Catch 22 is a satire. Orwell didn't really use any humour in his stories at all.

Keep in mind that you're going to need to explain what future spins are while you're writing, and be explicitly clear about it. The paper would likely only be funny to you...so I would recommend doing something else.

Oh, and here i am thinking that Animal Farm was a satire but i guess it doesnt use any of those things.  Maybe its just about a farm and my imagination led me to believe its satirical towards communist Russia.
